CHARACTERISTICS
The UTS series is made up of two families of air handling
units, with a total of 11 sizes, covering a range of flow-rates from 750
m3/h to 20,000 m3/h.
The two families, similar in design and construction, differ in the range of
flow-rates, as weII as a number of different features.
- UTSD: air handling units featuring directly coupled fans with single-phase
motors, with flow-rates from 750 to 5,000 m3/h, in 5 sizes. These are
exclusively standard units, designed for small commercial and industrial applications,
and are suitable for ceiling or floor installation.
- UTST: air handling units featuring fans with three-phase motors and
belt drive. The flow-rates range from 2,300 to 20,000 m3/h. These units
are mostly used in systems that require higher flow-rates, pressure gains and
capacities. They are available in 6 standard sizes.
Both families are available in horizontal and vertical versions:
- Horizontal, UTSD/H and UTST/H
- Vertical, UTSD/V and UTST/V

are described separately in two different sections this manual.
